Progress : Cleared the self-sown Nasturiums from plot 2b to clear a space for a temporary stack of material for composting once the enclosures have been emptied this winter.. Gathered some veg for dinner including a bunch of Carrots that were sown too thickly.
Weather : Sunny spells
Progress : Pottered along to gather some veg. Started to pull out the old Cabbage plants from plot 2d to clear it ready for dunging but changed my mind as there were quite a few new heads growing. These produce good and tender spring greens which are welcome at this time of year. Spread some of the Nasturtium seeds on the bank along the edge of the allotments.
